Laser debit cards are based in Ireland. Irish banks once used Laser debit cards in order to allow customers to make purchases online and in stores.
Debit Standard: The Laser Debit Standard card is directly linked to the customer’s bank account. It can be processed as a debit card, when the customer enters their PIN number to approve a purchase, or a credit card when a customer simply signs a purchase agreement.
Debit PIN Only: A Laser PIN Only Debit Card is approved for use only at point-of-sales and ATMs where the customer’s PIN number may be entered.
